A workshop proposal system built for a statewide conference.

Meeting of the Minds is an annual conference that accepts workshop proposals from speakers and facilitators across the state. The previous process involved emailing a PDF form, manually copying submissions into a spreadsheet, and tracking review status by hand.

The organizers needed something that would make submission easy for applicants, keep the review process organized for the team, and give them clean data at the end without manual cleanup.

The public side is a landing page explaining the conference and a submission form where applicants fill in their workshop details. Submissions go directly into a database with no manual step required.

The admin side is a password-protected dashboard where the review team logs in to see all submissions in one place. Each submission can be marked with a status (pending, in review, approved, declined), and the full submission list can be exported to CSV at any time.
