Work / California Workforce Association

Website + Member Portal

A public website and private portal for a statewide workforce association.

CW.

The situation

The California Workforce Association is a statewide nonprofit representing workforce development organizations across California. Their existing site was outdated and their members had no central place to access resources, directories, or organization-specific information.

The goal was straightforward: a clean public site for outreach and advocacy, plus a password-protected member portal where their 100+ member organizations could log in and access what they needed.

What was built

The public site covers who the association is, what they do, and how organizations can get involved. The member portal sits behind authentication and gives logged-in members access to a directory of member organizations, shared resources, and relevant updates.

The two sides of the project serve completely different audiences and were designed that way: the public site is about visibility, the portal is about utility.
